May 19th, 2008, I had the privilege to shoot a local Malaysian band called The Times. It was really a last minute thing as both sides were kinda caught up with stuff. I wasn't completely satisfied with the shoot as what I conceptualized earlier with them didn't really happen. Le sigh. Anyways, thanks to dear Ted Adnan who was wonderful enough to not only let me use his studio, but he helped me out with the lighting indoors and outdoors! Seriously I used to have an anti thing towards artificial lighting, cause I prefer au natural. But it does help alot, and makes a huge difference, and extremely useful in low light conditions.
This was shot in Ted's studio; Barebone Studio in Kajang. Originally shot in colour then converted to black and white.
Then, some shots outside. Kinda like this one too. It's like we're kinda standing, or walking quite organized heading to some place, and it so happens someone took a picture of us doing it. Ahaha.
And last, but not least. Probably a favorite of most. The lighting is to die for (thanks to sir Ted!) Probably this shot would've been normal without the lighting. Hmm, definitely has motivated me to pick my arse up and start learning all this technical stuff, lighting, e.t.c...
